{FAILED LOCK}

Really, the most irritating thing isn't his words. The opinions of others mean absolutely nothing; I'm certainly never lying when I say that. He'd like to think that he can get under my skin, and I'll admit that I've slipped up a couple of times in that regard- but that has been taken care of; it won't happen again. No, the most irritating thing is that he's right.

I doubt that it's fear. It would be characteristic of her, I suppose, to fear me- but for some reason, she doesn't. I also doubt that she's just "waiting to see me fall"- that could easily be done from the sidelines. It's that third theory of his that I've considered before (I hope he doesn't think for one moment that he planted the idea in my head; that I allowed him to create such an... insecurity). That she really, truly hasn't realized yet that I am a monster. At some level, I'm sure she does (why else would she have said...)- but once she starts listening to those other friends of hers; really listening to them...

Ty Lee has always been easily convinced of things.

I am a monster. I always have been. I've never denied it. But I don't know why the idea of her recognizing it and calling me out on it is so... tsk.

It's an inevitability. I shouldn't bother deluding myself into thinking otherwise.

...

That smug detective really does need to be taught a lesson.

Now I'm giving out free consultations. Your government fell apart when one person walked in and took the throne, if you didn't lead a team to come after me I'd still be the ruler. The political and social structure are one thing to the main nation, however if you look at your satellite nations, those are the ones that you have to look at. The reason why Alexander was so prosperous was that he built universities, and somewhat allowed the nations he invaded to flourish.

It's actually illogical. She wouldn't have sought you out if she didn't want it.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
No, you used otherworldly technology to convince my father to give you the throne. If you had staged a real coup you wouldn't even be alive right now.

We've been friends since we were six. She hardly "sought me out". ... Though she actually did initiate the friendship.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
But all it took was false flattery and a business deal to try and get to him. If I had staged a real coup, your father would be dead and that pretty cannon of mine would be firing. I'm a businessman now, not a military student.

Heh, she's like Dark. Then, if she hasn't figured you out by now, she's not a very good friend, let alone a servant.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
That's hardly an argument- if you hadn't brought along your little brainwashing device, an audience with my father wouldn't have been the slightest bit dangerous for him.

... She's not a servant.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
If you insist, but I've made my point and there's no use over thinking it.

She's not a servant to you because she's dear to you. You're contradicting your own mantra in regards to the Fire Nation.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Your point is invalid.

...

I never contradict myself.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
If you chose it to be.

You just did.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
But I didn't.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
People who serve the Fire Nation and the crown are the servants to the Fire Nation. To call her something above that means that you, on some level, consider her your equal because Ty Lee is someone much, much more.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
People who serve the Fire Nation have many different titles. "Servant" is reserved for palace housekeepers, cooks, royal groomers, and so on.

Re: uber tight lock || i-if hakuba wants to hack, he can.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
You misunderstand my definition.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
And I'm supposed to be the smug irritating one. Stop replacing me, Rufus.

And don't waste your time, she's too scared to try talk with Ty Lee about the subject, even less do something about it.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Stop acting like you are.

oops wrong icon XD

Keep saying that, I will trust you if you repeat it 3 times.

I'm allowed to be smug, I took her kingdom.

Why would she talk about the subject? Perhaps ignorance is the best answer.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Azula, let the grown ups talk.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-10-15 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
If you don't wish me to respond, take your conversation elsewhere.

I broke her brain.

Ignorance is never an answer, or a excuse.

I would have paid to have been there.

In matters such as these, it's better not to know.

She was trying to involve Akako with Sylar...[typed then deleted] She caught me in a bad mood.

Sure. Just wait until the problems grows, all fall apart and blow up your head from inside.
