Ty Lee had been wanting to come over fairly often in recent weeks- and often, she ended up spending the night. It wasn't as if Azula minded at all; on the contrary, she quite enjoyed the company. She also liked that Ty Lee was continuing to request visits, even after... well, everything. It was as if she really wanted to see Azula. That was what she claimed, at any rate.

Putting aside the (very dull) book she had been idly flipping through, Azula awaited Ty Lee's arrival.

"...Just...I don't know." Ty Lee burried her face closer to Azula's neck.

"How am I supposed to know what to do if you won't tell me?" She lifted her own head up and perched her chin on top of Ty Lee's.

Azula huffed. "That doesn't make sense. You don't want to be needed, but you don't want not to be needed."

"I just meant that I don't like you saying it. When you say you don't need me, it sounds really mean and you...strange things happen when you say you need me."

"I act weak, which is unacceptable," she whispered. "I know."

"Why? It's a perfectly justifiable reason. It was idiotic of me to use you as an excuse to act pathetic."

She didn't remember that and closed her eyes. Maybe if she pretended to be asleep...

Azula heaved an irritated sigh. "Fine. Don't listen. Are you even awake?"

"...Uh...why is the floating jam gone?"

((...trying to get Azula to believe she's talking in her sleep.))

Azula rolled her eyes and pulled away from Ty Lee. Unwrapping the blankets from around herself, she moved about half a foot away.

"Just leave me alone," she murmured, not sounding very convincing at all.

She followed, dropping the ruse of sleep. Ty Lee moved in close, trying to wrap her in her arms. Hopefully Azula would move away, turning her back.

...It wasn't the exactly the nicest of plans but, maybe, it would work.

"You don't mean that."

Azula stiffened, hunching her shoulders.

She placed a hand on Azula's back, moving it up and down. "It's alright, see? Doesn't that feel nice?"

Yes...it wasn't very nice to do.

Azula stayed completely rigid. "Why are you doing this?" she growled.

Azula pulled away. She climbed out of the bed and stalked over to her chair by the window, curling up in it.
