Ty Lee had been wanting to come over fairly often in recent weeks- and often, she ended up spending the night. It wasn't as if Azula minded at all; on the contrary, she quite enjoyed the company. She also liked that Ty Lee was continuing to request visits, even after... well, everything. It was as if she really wanted to see Azula. That was what she claimed, at any rate.

Putting aside the (very dull) book she had been idly flipping through, Azula awaited Ty Lee's arrival.

Azula wrapped her arms around herself and didn't answer.

Ty Lee got up, and moved to the chair. She leaned against it. "I mean it."

Azula turned her face away, pressing it against the arm of the chair.

"It's true..."

"What did you mean before, when you said that you wanted to help me?" Azula said in a low voice.

"I wanted to makeyou feel better, you sounded uncomfortable."

Azula was quiet.

She sighed.

"You're just going to stand there all night?" Azula asked finally, her voice muffled.

"Not if you let me sit with you."

She sighed irritatedly. "Why would you want to do that?"

"Because...I want to make you feel better." She layed, gingerly so not to upset her, a hand on Azula's shoulder, giving it a quick stroke.

Azula stiffened slightly, but allowed the gesture. "I don't need to be made better," she muttered.

"... And I am not going to cry."

She sighed. "Just let me, okay? Nothing bad's going to happen," Ty Lee said more calmly than she felt while giving Azula's shoulder another stroke.

"Of course something bad would happen," Azula muttered under her breath. "Something bad always happens with this sort of thing." There was a long pause.

"... Hypothetically, where do you want to sit?"

She gripped her shoulder slightly. Ty Lee didn't touch the pressure point she knew was there, but the thought...oh, the thought was there. But just that one spot wouldn't do much good, once Azula felt it pressed she'd move away. Ty Lee quickly stroked it. "With you...anywhere, really."

The idea was a bit overwhelming, really. Ty Lee normally didn't entertain such thoughts, they weren't supposed to be there. Azula was the princess, her friend. You didn't do that to friends. You just didn't. Yet...Ty Lee bit her lower lip. It "sobered" her somewhat.

Azula felt the squeeze, and curled tighter into the chair.

Ty Lee stroked her shoulder before moving slightly around the chair. Eventually she stopped when she was facing Azula's back. She leaned over the arm of the chair, placing her hands on Azula's back.

Ty Lee started to move her hands up and down, rubbing them, over Azula's back. She could have easily disabled her body within a minute but Ty Lee didn't, wouldn't (It'snotright. Friendsdon'tdothat. Friends don't try to scare their friends away from their jbos, either.) but Azula was her friend. She would wait, if she would do it at all.

Azula pulled her arms tighter around herself, wedging her head more firmly against the back of the chair.

"It's alright, now. Doesn't that feel nice?"

She leaned forward more, kissing the top of Azula's head. "It will."
