If the Dai Li are involved, they could just as easily caused him to try to kill me. That could have been unnaturally engineered; in reality, he might still support me. This could be what he really thinks. He might--

For any of you who may have spoken to a suddenly very loyal former Fire Lord Ozai, I sincerely hope you're not stupid enough to actually help him in finding me. His change could have been brought around by any number of things-- brainwashing, virus infection, or even simple trickery. If you're the sort of person who is inclined to give someone the benefit of the doubt just because they say "I was being foolish", then save me the trouble and don't talk to him at all.
