Just in case there has been any misunderstanding: This business with Mai has not changed anything. Things are still going as planned. I still have the entire Fire Nation- including the entire Fire Nation military- on my side; what does it matter if a single person chooses to be foolish? Besides, I'm sure there are at least a few people in this strange place who could be of use to me. I've already struck one deal that could very easily give me an even bigger advantage in this war.

Things will be better without Mai around to slow us down, anyway. It's really for the best. Someone who questions their loyalty towards me has no place in my life.
