I'm not surprised. It's been months since we've had a virus; one was going to crop up sooner or later.

At least I'm not affected, so my training won't be delayed.

[She points to her outfit. A child genius was still a child.]

[Lilith seems confused at first and then overwhelmed. To even be acknowledged as a person was an amazing feat.]

I'm not a real person by their standards. None of us are. They call us property... tools... never human beings. Abel says there's no future for our family. You shouldn't be willing to risk your life for us and yet... [She looks down at her hands.]
