I have to admit, mostly the latter. They've already invaded several countries that I would consider allies or at least non-aggressive.

Practically the whole of Europe is in the middle of another war and anyone who isn't German is more or less fair game, I think that I have good reason to be biased. Besides that, they actually have the bloody nerve to think that everyone is just going to lay down and let them walk all over them, which is a big mistake.

Hardly. Expansion is a valid reason for conquering other countries, but I never said that there weren't situations where it would be futile, or even unjustified.
