As of Monday, I have been officially declared heir to the Fire Lord's throne, and my coronation will take place sometime within the month. Therefore, you can just as easily ask this question of me.

At this time, the Fire Nation is not interested in expanding its borders beyond our home world, or making military alliances with off-world nations.
