[Azula is used to failure being met with disdain and hate-- after all, that's what happened with her father and Zuko, and later her father and her herself-- and so forgiveness for mistakes isn't the norm for her; having people accept anything less than perfection is still so confusing in her mind]

A good friend would have done things right. A good friend would be able to show someone that they're not a monster and get them to believe it, without making them feel bad.
