I can't come to visit France; I have to stay here because--

I saw them; they were stupid enough not to lock their conversation and I saw them talking; they're going to try to take me away and I have to stay here.

They can't have their petty little revenge. I need to be ready when they come for me.

[ it's your basic Japanese apartment, with a sliding door to a balcony on one end of the living room and a small kitchen. His cat jumps down from the coffee table and starts investigating around Azula; he's brought the cat with him to Cuddy's rather often, but she's still going to greet the new person ] Would you like something to drink?

[vaguely recognizes Lulu from seeing her once or twice]

... Tea. Do you have tea? Or water.

[ She is going to sit on Azula, because she's contrary. Itsuki heads over to the kitchen and takes a mug down; keeps talking as he puts the teabag in the cup and dispenses the hot water ] I have an extra futon; you can sleep there or have my bed, as you like. If you end up staying long enough to need that, of course.

[looking at the cat like "8| wat" but not bothering to shove it off or anything]

I should go back later, in case Cain or Zuko shows up.

Of course. In the meantime, we can call Lisa periodically, to make sure. Do you take sugar?
