Is it really that unheard of for a major world-wide war to last one hundred years? How long to wars on your worlds last?

It was called the Hundred Years War, and it was fought between England and France in order to establish who had rights to the French throne.

Or something. That's what is says in my history book.

Heck no. Neither France or England operate under monarchies anymore. It started in 1337 and ended in 1453.

Not necessarily. There was a Civil War in America fought over slavery, and World War II was fought over race and human rights.

If he was insane, he wasn't brilliant. I don't wake up one day and decide to slaughter an entire race of people for no discernible reason; that would be incredibly counterproductive.

That's not what I was talking about. He was insane, but he managed to practically brainwash and entire country because he was a brilliant military strategist.
