A virus rather like this one. Shiro and I thought we were her natural sons for a few days.

Unlikely, considering the natural duration of viruses. Besides, I haven't yet seen anyone affected by two at once.

And last May we both thought I was her daughter. It's strange, don't you think, that "feelings" like that really start to come about after viruses? It's easy to assume that they're caused by said viruses.

Not particularly. I don't believe viruses really cause lingering feelings in that sense; I believe that the potential is there in any case, and all viruses do is bring people together, as saccharine as that sounds.
