Isn't Christmas over a month away? Why is everyone talking about it already?

It's all over Earth, too. I never bothered to ask last year; is it a national or a worldwide holiday?

The Fire Nation; I'm its leader. But I also spend a lot of time on Earth, in New Jersey.

We have tourists that come to our capital, of course, but they obviously don't come into the palace.

New Jersey? Really? Somehow I'm not sure I can imagine the leader of an entire Nation in New Jersey.

I live in one of the most tourist-heavy areas of the city. They're hard to ignore.

It's New Jersey. I'm not sure they have much more besides a whole lot of respectable history and Bruce Springsteen.

I've been considering it. I don't think I can bring myself to do it.

They have plenty of things.

Why? Is it sentimental?

I should probably visit before I make assumptions.

It's my home.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, you should.

But if you don't like it...?

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
It's still my home and it took me in when I needed it. The good outweighs the bad.
Would you leave your country after everything it's offered you?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course not. I didn't suggest you desert your entire country. Can't you just move house?

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I painted in the floor.
My landlord would kill me if he knew.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that was stupid, wasn't it.

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really. It was for a good cause.

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what we've been talking about, yes.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
It's just a painting. How could it be for a good cause?

Not one for fine art, I take it? My paintings are a little different.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not like you could sell one that's on the floor.

Different how?

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
And here I thought I was a cynic.

They predict the future.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
And what if I were to say that I don't believe the future is necessarily fixed and unchangeable?

[identity profile] future-games.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Then I would have no reply for you. I haven't figured out if the future can be completely changed. I just paint what I see. I don't know anything else but what shows up on that canvas.
