Isn't Christmas over a month away? Why is everyone talking about it already?

It's all over Earth, too. I never bothered to ask last year; is it a national or a worldwide holiday?

Training isn't fun! Training's hard and it makes you tired and you don't get to take a siesta!

Veh, whatever works I guess.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, so you can have training and I'll keep silly pictures and Christmas and that stuff.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Fine. I don't even celebrate Christmas.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
That's too bad. But that's okay 'cuz you have the seasonal festivals and other stuff.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. I don't need any more holidays.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, you wouldn't have time for anything else if you had too many.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
We don't overload ourselves with holidays the way Earth citizens do.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Veh, we don't overload. Christmas is the only big one for the rest of the year.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
There's less than two months left in the year; that's hardly a feat.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Still, there's nothing wrong with having a really big holiday every few months and some littler ones in the between. People like them and they're fun to look forward to.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
But they're fun, and it gives people time to relax, and it helps people remember important events and stuff.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Nobody needs to relax that much.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
A few times every month is too much relaxing?

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Veh, well, my people like to have them. And ours are some of the best in the world, so I don't think we're getting rid of them anytime soon.

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
They're beautiful and wonderful! And they have gorgeous costumes and masks and music and art and delicious foods and bright colors and there's dances and parades and singing and circuses and so many people come to see it!
