That's why he's doing this. He's trying to control me.

He wants me to be a prisoner here, unable to leave for any reason, constantly under threat from assailants and assassins.
[She stops suddenly, and her voice grows colder; harsher-- and more agitated]
He's trying to take everything; he's trying to take even more than that damned community has. If he wants to desert me, fine, but he can't keep me from--
[A controlled breath-- and when she speaks again, her voice is forcibly calmer]
He can't stop me.
