It has become readily apparent that hospitals are even more dull when you're not the one admitted. The war effort is decidedly uneventful at the moment, I'm not a fan of television, and there's only so many books one can read before even that becomes boring.

Someone; anyone. Amuse me.

There is always Gold Saucer, Princess.

It's an amusement park that isn't too far from where you are if you take a ShinRa Bullet train.

We have books about the planet too.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I doubt I'll find those interesting.

How interested are you in geological wonders?

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I have to lead a team to the coldest part of Gaia to create a geothermal generator there. It's very beautiful up there and we have many rare gems if you wanted to come with me.

If you say so. It is an integral part of how we power our weaponry too.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Regardless, I don't see how it would be of any use to me.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't find knowledge fascinating? The more you unman the more domestic things, the more you can use them to create bigger weapons. The drill that you used on ... Basingsei, was it? That drill created by us ten years ago. Similarly, we could run it on half the man power and double the capacity.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
This particular knowledge? I find it irrelevant, and therefore useless. Our worlds are very different; as I saw with your cannon, something that works well on your world might not be right for mine.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Contrary to popular belief, your world and mine aren't different at all. My engineers could make your machinery better, faster, stronger with the materials that you have. Show you how to make steel that is ten times stronger than the metal you have because of have volcanic activity and an abundance of heat and save money doing it to.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I trust neither you nor your engineers, so that is a moot point.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
A wise choice, I do want something in return.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Call it a treaty, I have no need for the Fire Nation, but I do need its knowledge.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
How do you think you're going to pay for Ty Lee's hospital stay? I could have you both kicked out of there this instant.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't want your money. I want your infrastructure.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately, you're getting my money.

[identity profile] shinra-pwnsjoo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
It's useless here. Her hospital stay is worth roughly a whole Fire Nation platoon. All you need to give me are the architectural and urban plans for the Fire Nation and every city conquered.
