[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
You met the others?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
A few.

So in a sense, he's your adopted son.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
In a sense. we lived together ..300 years, wow. He grow up so fast.

No she does not have a father complex why do you ask :|

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. He doesn't have a real father?

I have no idea what ar eyou talking about

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
It doesn't work like that with us, the nations. It's hard to explain. We have brothers or sisters, and grandfathers too. Grandpa Rome was Romano's grandfather. Mine too..in a way.

[Sorry for the crappy explanation, you asked the only thing that is never explained in Hetalia >>']

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-19 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
So you have grandfathers, but not fathers. That's illogical.

What about mothers?

OOC: Ahaha, sorry. DX

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
Ah ha ha, now that you mention it. ..yes it is.

Greece and Egypt have them.

[it's ok. At least Greece and Egypt moms were mentioned ^^']

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
So they have birth mothers, but not birth fathers.

Idiotic.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe some countries do, I don't know all of them. But usually big brothers are the most important.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Brothers are even more useless than parents.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Not in our case. You usually need them to learn thing and grow up without the other stronger nations invading you all the time. That's not very nice.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
So they train you, because you don't have fathers.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
More or less. Some nations don't have brother or sister.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
And do they do just fine on their own?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
So that's your way of weeding out the weak, then.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, no. Gilbert was strong, even as a kid and some adults countries are still weak. You can be strong, but if different countries make and agreement they can declare war and win.

Times are different now, we don't fight as much as before. It's better that way.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
You depend on each other too much. On the little "families" you make.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
No, it never last long. We don't have families the way you do. All the nations seeks independence, you can't survive if you are not strong enough. England couldn't understand that until it was too late for him and America.

And it's not like new countries show up everyday, not since the New world.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2009-08-20 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Not all humans need families to survive.
