My sixteenth birthday is in one month.

Things will have to be different this year.

I wasn't aware you even knew her.

You're humoring me, I can tell. You don't believe me.

Only through the events in which she was hurt. I don't believe we've actually ever spoken.

But you always argue with me when I disagree, so I didn't want to bother you with it.

Then why does it matter to you? Or do you just care about absoultely everyone, no matter whether or not you actually know them?

You're treating me like a baby. Like I can't handle a pathetic little argument.

She was hurt, it was only natural to be concerned for her health and safety.

No, I just do not wish to argue with you in the first place.

It's pathetic to care about someone you don't know. It's irrational.

I don't think so. Every life is precious after all.

Not to everyone. People normally only care about those that they know.

But I'm sure they still feel at least a little bad when they were about someone, even if it is a stranger, getting hurt.

Not everyone is that obsessed.

It's not obsession, it is merely concern.

Do you think that's something that I would care about?

It really should be obvious.
