Ty Lee is... admittedly I don't know her as well as you do, but I get the feeling that she's a lot like Nozomi, and Nozomi can be very naive sometimes. You used to all be friends, right? If Mai told Ty Lee that she just wanted to talk to you, Ty Lee... would probably believe it, and would go through with it, hoping you could all be friends again.

And I'm not convinced that either Nozomi or Ty Lee is really capable of wanting anyone dead.
