I don't trust people. I just don't. It's not safe, and it's not wise. As we grew older I made sure to only trust you and Mai as far as I needed to- and in Mai's case, even that was too much.

But I don't think that's what trust means to you. To most people. To you it's... bigger, and more complete. I told you before that there are a few things that I don't know how to do well, and this is one of them. I'm trying, but it doesn't always work- and I'm not used to that. I'm trying, but it's difficult, Ty Lee. Perhaps not impossible, just... difficult.

And as far as money goes- I'm thinking that we may need quite a lot of it. I'm not sure how far a certain amount of will take you in... "LA", but it's better to be safe than sorry. I have practically an unlimited amount of gold, obviously, and I am quite willing to have your contact exchange as much of it as is necessary.
