Queen Nancy. Do tell me more about these theories of yours; I find them incredibly enlightening. Is there anyone else who is creating an elaborate web of lies and deception for the purpose of taking me down when I least expect it? I really would appreciate it if you let me know- after all, we all know how easily manipulated I am; I would never figure it out on my own.

They're not organized formally. The target of an assassin rarely knows what's coming for them.

I've never heard of any of those. Is openly and publicly declaring your intent to assassinate someone commonplace on your world? If anyone did something like that in the Fire Nation, they would be thrown in prison at the very least.

Sometimes it is, but it doesn't need to be a public declaration to know that some people are in danger. Charismatic leaders, politics, or just people who's against certain philosophy are often in risk and they even killed. It happened to Gandhi, Martin Luther King, JFK and others.

If you don't know all that, and I'm talking about how politic affairs work, not the people I just mentioned, you're certainly and awful leader.

You are completely missing my entire point. I never said that the target has to be naive and oblivious to any possibility of danger for something to be an assassination. Someone can realize that an assassination is possible without knowing about it for sure, but if the event is planned for and formally arranged then it is an execution.
