{FORWARD-DATED} to after both her ongoing RLs

I've been strangely social lately. I've had people over, I've gone to visit others, and I've apparently been invited to join in on some sort of movie night. Not only would this not have happened three years ago-- before I joined the community-- I don't think it would even have happened one year ago.

I haven't really changed that much, have I? I don't think I have.

I don't think that necessarily means that I changed. It just means that my life changed.

Wouldn't that change you, too?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2011-06-05 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
... A little. Not too much, necessarily.

You don't want to have changed, do you?

I'm all right with having changed in some ways.

But, you don't like the idea of becoming too social. Lone wolf syndrome?

I didn't say that. I just think it's a little odd, that's all.

What's lone wolf syndrome?

[identity profile] sotobas-lot.livejournal.com 2011-06-05 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
It's not any sort of official term. It just seems you're not used to... people. Depending on them or enjoying them in general.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2011-06-05 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
... No, I'm not. Not most people, anyway.

I'd think of it as a good thing.

I was talking about becoming a more social person. Self-sufficiency's a good trait, but man's advanced as he has thanks to socialization.

I was always taught to operate differently. I've determined that few exceptions here and there are fine, but I don't know if it would be a good idea to develop more.
