...And I do too. Damnit. It's too bad it would basically take an act of God (hm, or a virus?) to get them together, because I'm pretty sure it would take another one to tear them apart.

Hm...

Maybe if the AU Virus I suggested a while back happens? Karen could now have grown up as a Fire Nation citizen, which I think would smooth things over quite a bit.

Still, she doesn't even like Fire Nation citizens as more than just "PEOPLE I RULE :D :D". Maybe if we used the idea that she grew up with her, the way she did with Mai and Ty Lee (because along with her father, they're the only people on the show that she seems to like, and even then she seems to favor Ty Lee...).

I just meant in the sense of "and therefore she probably had less of a tendency object to what THE PRINCESS! said, so they started off on less of the wrong foot." But actually, that makes sense.
