Not being able to worldhop by myself is incredibly inconvenient. If no one is willing to take you somewhere, you're stuck. Not that I particularly cared about going to Gotham, but now that I'm out of the hospital I need something to do.

... For everyone who doesn't have servants or private hairdressers: what do you do when you need a trim? Do you just cut it yourself?

I think they go out to have that done, if they don't have someone to do it for them.

Go where?

You can go out to a hairdresser in town to get it cut. Some of them even do home calls, if you phone up. But I think that's only a few.

I don't know how to drive a car.

Public transport?

Taxis are expensive.

Then catch the bus? That's usually a lot cheaper. Or you could always walk!

I don't know where to get any Earth money at all. And I don't know how close any are; I'm staying in the suburbs. I don't want to walk for miles just to get a trim; that's ridiculous.

...Oh, I see. I'd suggest begging but you don't seem the type. Can't you ask for some money from whoever you're staying with?

There are people that cut hair for a living. Barbers and stylists.

Go to a salon.

...Okay, well, cut your hair yourself then.

I know what barbers are. I just don't know how and where they operate on Earth.

Are you serious? You go to get your hair cut somewhere.

That is unless you can do it yourself.

Why don't you ask someone around? Or use that nifty phone invention. Or take a walk to find one? They usually aren't hard to spot. If you go out and ask any woman on the street, I'm sure she'd know the where-to and where-nots

I don't see the point of going to a salon just for a trim. At home I'd just have a servant do it; I wouldn't even go to the spa.

Although, you oughta be careful... I did that once and it didn't turn out very well.
