It has become readily apparent that hospitals are even more dull when you're not the one admitted. The war effort is decidedly uneventful at the moment, I'm not a fan of television, and there's only so many books one can read before even that becomes boring.

Someone; anyone. Amuse me.

[He puts down the card deck and covers it with a white cloth]

Watch closely now, Azu-chan!

[He pulls the cloth away, and the deck has been magically replaced with a dove, who is preening her feathers. He picks the dove up and pets it for a bit, before covering it with his hands, twisting his wrist, and turning it into a yellow flower]

Ta-dah!

[In a bored tone] Lovely. Don't be so loud.

Don't you want to know what happened to the card deck?

[He points to his pocket, indicating that Azula should check hers. And no, he is not telling how he managed to put the deck of cards in her pocket from worlds away :D]

[She takes it out, irritated at not being able to explain the phenomenon.]

What is this?

The deck of cards I made disappear. [Not exactly, but close enough]

I realize that. [She wants to ask how he did it, but she isn't going to give him that satisfaction, lawl]

Impressive, no?

No.

C'mon, don't lie to me! [He quirks and eyebrow at her and grins]

[She frowns] You're still talking too loudly.

[He gives her a flat look, and drops to a whisper] Better?

Fine. [Her voice isn't at a whisper, but it's still fairly low.]

Why so quiet anyway? Because it's a hospital?

[She wordlessly turns the book around so that it's facing the bed where Ty Lee is sleeping.]

[He nods] Gotcha. She's okay, right?

Yes.

Good. [He hesitates for a bit, before leaning back in his chair] Mind giving her those get-well flowers for me?

[... and there a vase of yellow roses sitting on the nightstand. My guess is that he paid a hospital worker to do this for him lawl]

[She's trying to keep a surprised look off her face now.] ...

Entertained enough for one night, ne Azu-baka? [He's grinning from ear to ear now]

You're only entertaining when you're mad or in pain.

[He shrugs and sighs] Only you would say something like that.

Disappointed?

Nope. Why would I be?
