{LOCK!FAIL}

I don't understand why people dream. When they're asleep, I mean. It all seems rather pointless. There's the spiritual aspect (for people who are foolish enough to believe in that sort of thing), I suppose- that dreams give you "answers" to problems or questions. That's entirely ridiculous, of course. After all, I don't have any problems or questions- none that are major, anyway- and yet I still have the most irritating dreams about the most idiotic things.
Granted, it was only once. This time. But if possible, I'd like to prevent it from happening again. It was... unsettling.

... Hm. Dream prevention. I'll have to look into that.

They do appear to be, yes.

I'm not very good at them either.

It must be amazing to dream.

That's just how it is. There's not a reason for it.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Far from it.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
I have no desire to be "good" at them.

[identity profile] fillmydarksoul.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Nah? You can't close your eyes and then see things that you imagine?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
I can. It's just not amazing.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
But you will need to be, at least on diplomatic relationships.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
That's different. I am perfectly adept at those.

[identity profile] fillmydarksoul.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Whatever you say.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Good.

How is the plan about your future husband doing? Already find someone?

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
It can be a good time to look for someone. You said that you had some free time.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
I also said that I'm not doing the looking myself.

You're not interested in the least?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
But you're going to have a child with that person, you're not even worried about who you will need to have sex with?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I'll approve the choice, of course. That doesn't mean that I want to have a hand in the searching process. I have no desire to court someone.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, fine then. I wasn't talking about courting. You wouldn't be able to do that even if you try.

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
... I could if I wanted to.

[identity profile] clockmaster.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Really?

[identity profile] peoplesprincess.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. I fooled Ty Lee, didn't I?

Dreams are you subconscious mind speaking to you. Taking all of your hopes, fears, and questions, then throwing them at you in bits of information.

There isn't really a "dream prevention" method, it's part of having a mind. Even animals do it.
